Have you ever found yourself Procrastinating on tasks you know you need to do? Or felt overwhelmed by the size of your to-do list? So much so that you find yourself doing nothing for most of the day?

I’ve been there, I’ve spent full days procrastinating tasks I knew where important and working on “easier” “quicker” tasks.

If you spent even 5 minutes browsing the internet you’ll surely find many articles about how to stop procrastinating, but you’ll also find a million articles about all the things that you should be doing for your business.

If you’ve managed to escape this sea of information without feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of advice being offered you might still struggle with thoughts such as: What if this doesn’t work? What if I’m doing it wrong?

 

But here’s what I’ve learned about Procrastinating:

Whenever you find yourself procrastinating on a task you know you should be doing you’re probably jus bumping up to resistance.

But this resistance isn’t telling you to stop. It’s showing you that you’re moving in the right direction.

Many times we procrastinate because we are afraid of the success and prosperity that will come our way if we don’t procrastinate. But in this world of looking for freedom through your business, success and prosperity is exactly what you want and need so don’t shy away from it!

How to move past procrastination:

There’s something you can do to keep you moving forward and stay away from procrastination and overwhelm.

Do one imperfect action every day to move you in the direction of the life you’ve dreamed.
It doesn’t need to be perfect or big. It just needs to be something that will move you in the right direction.

For me, that action is to interact on Facebook Groups daily. For you, it might be writing on your blog, or sending an email to your list. Anything that you can do daily that will get you closer to your dream.
